Moose Jaw Newborn Photography - Blessings

I need to say a big thank you to Momma for letting me photograph this little dreamer. He is truly a blessing. And he is blessed to have such a supportive extended family all around him to give him lots of love as he grows.

Joy. My prayer is that Joshua will bring lots of this to his mother and family. Joshua was quite awake and quite opinionated during our shoot. I just love it. He just did not want me to put him on his tummy. For what reason, I may never know. As you can see by these beautiful images, he was quite peaceful and cooperative, as long as mom or I did not attempt to put him on his little tum. Thankfully, mom was very patient with me and her little man. And we were able to capture some gorgeous shots of him… just not in tummy time. Sometimes, a newborn shoot can go really long. This one did. I knew that these portraits were really important to her, so we perservered. It was well worth it. Patience is a virtue… they say. Patience is definitely something that this little venture of my mine is helping me develop. It is a joy to capture these kind of images.

I hope all Joshua’s friends and family will leave him some love in the comment section, so Mommy knows you have been here. Thanks for taking a sneak peak at this gorgeous little guy!

Moose Jaw Newborn Photographer - Pretty in Pink

What a priviledge it is to get to capture these little miracles. Little Cali was certainly that, a little miracle. This photo shoot was an absolute delight. It always amazes me how every newborn is so different. Their personalities are often apparent during our 3 hours together. This little sweetie was so calm and precious. I couldn’t believe how she was awake and willing to allow me to position her in a few different props, and she actually stayed exactly where I placed her. Incredible! We even caught a beautiful little smile in one of her portraits (check out the purple basket shots). What a pretty little girl! And what blessed parents she has! It sure helps that Cali was only 5 days old when her parents brought her to me to photograph these earliest moments in their little girl’s life.

I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into our photo shoot. Leave some love for mommy and daddy in the comment section.

Chris and Tara have a beautiful baby girl and I am soooo happy that they get to enjoy one of lifes many experiences…having a baby!!! There will always be something that you don’t know about raising a child but you are great parents and I know you will always do what is right for Cali. She is very pretty and Jake and I are having a hard time deciding which picture is our favourite but Jake has decided on the purple basket one and I really like the one where she is sleeping with the net around her.

Congratulations!!!! Love Tricia and Jake

Moose Jaw Newborn Photographer - Celebrating 2010!

This year was an incredible year for me. I feel so blessed, there is so much to celebrate. I celebrated my 10th year of marriage to Moose Jaw’s most amazing Dr. B. What a lucky girl I am! :) We enjoyed the first year of life of little Asher, our 4th pride and joy. And I got to find a new passion and excitement in a brand new career. Welcome Brown-Eyed Girl Photography to little old Moose Jaw. Here is a year in review glance at why I decided to turn a little fun into a wonderful new business. I hope to be able to capture many more little Moose Jaw and area sweet-hearts this year in their earliest moments of life! A big thank you to all the parents who gave me the priviledge of photographing their beautiful babies in 2010.

Newborns and maternityare my specialty, because as you will experience, if you come shoot with me, I get really excited about little feet and toes, beautiful bellies and those newborn moments that take your breath away. I hope to take your breath away this year when you get to see your own online gallery of your precious new baby.

Book your newborn photographs while you are still pregnant so I can be sure not to miss capturing your little miracle when he or she is between 4 and 7 days old. We slot your due date into my calendar. When baby arrives, you call me from the hospital and we will schedule the exact time to document these earliest memories.

Maternity photographs need to be when you have enough belly but are still feeling comfortable. Anytime after 26 weeks will be a fine time to remember the beauty of motherhood.

2011 here we come! Cheers!

P.S. Check out my website for more detail if you are interested. And if you shot with me this year and your baby’s photo is not here, it may be because I hadn’t yet started with my model releases.
